I've been writing in one form or another most of my adult life, starting with official correspondence in the navy.
Since then, most of my writing has been for radio in the form of news, comedy bits, commercials and promos. I was employed
by a software company for four years in an administrative capacity. The management there recognized my writing, proofreading
and editing skills and put me to work improving their newsletter, web content and user documents.
I was in radio sales for a number of years. I found that the only thing I really liked about it was the creative
aspect; writing and producing the commercials and promos. I hated going from business to business like a door-to-door
peddler selling my wares. I wanted to do something that would stir my creative juices, make me want to get out of bed
in the morning -- you know -- all those trite cliches.
I quickly discovered that prospective employers believe that creative usefulness ceases to exist promptly upon arriving
at one's fortieth birthday. To this I say, "Doo-doo de toro," or in English, "Bull kah-kah!"
So, herewith I offer my humble service to busy advertising account executives who would rather be out selling than
writing copy. To companies that have had to downsize their PR departments, perhaps I can help. To harried small
business owners, deluged by advertising reps, I offer some free advice on this site concerning radio and TV marketing.

I have included a short portfolio of different writing styles for your perusal.
By the way, I'm available to do radio and TV voice-overs. I'm quite good at character voices. My real
voice is pretty darn good too.
Your humble servant,
Sir Freelancelot
